Unless otherwise noted on an invoice, the following terms apply to all services provided by Vogel Computer Services.
Vogel Computer Services provides on site computer repair and consulting. Due to the nature of computers, it is sometimes difficult to provide an accurate estimate of the time required for resolution. We will provide our best estimate but all cases are different to some degree and all time spent resolving the issues is considered billable.
Vogel Computer Services does not mark up computer hardware, software or any other product. The amount charged for any item other than labor is our cost and not subject to negotiation. We pledge to never accept a commission on the sale of any product or service we refer any client to. When we offer advice, it is based solely on best serving the customer's needs.
Labor is billed at our standard rate as follows:
As of 01 December 2006, our standard hourly rate is $70.00 US per hour. We will discount our regular rate by $10 an hour for cash payments (cash payments include US currency and check). In addition to cash and check, VCS now accepts payments via Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
These rates are subject to change at any time without notice.
All fees are fully earned and all invoices are due upon receipt. In some cases, delayed payment is acceptable but payment must be received by the date noted on the invoice. If this is an issue for you, speak with us and we may allow more lenient terms on a case by case basis. Invoices not paid in full by the due date marked are subject to a $25 late fee.
Any check which is returned for any reason will be subject to a $25 fee.
Vogel Computer Services does not provide refunds or exchanges.
Any item which is paid for and not picked within 15 days of the invoice date will be considered "abandoned". Any item left in our care for any reason other than disposal longer than 15 days without contact from the owner directly relating to the item will be considered "abandoned".
Any items deemed "abandoned" left in our custody longer than 30 days will be subject to disposal at the sole discretion of Tom Vogel.
We regret this clause but any debt owed which is not made good will be subject to both civil collection proceedings and shall be considered theft if payment arrangements are not made.
